BakeGauge Privacy Policy

BakeGauge is designed to keep your recipes and business numbers on your device. Optional usage sharing is off until you choose it.

Effective date: August 24, 2026

Privacy at a glance

Information kept on your device

BakeGauge stores unfinished drafts, saved recipes, reusable ingredient records, settings, and consent choices locally on your device. Recipe names, ingredients, quantities, purchase prices, costs, profit, currency, customer details, contact details, and free text are not sent to VoltyApps or Firebase by BakeGauge.

Optional Firebase Analytics

If you turn on Share usage in the app, BakeGauge sends a controlled set of app interaction events to Firebase Analytics for product analytics. These describe stages and action types, such as starting a calculation or opening a result. They never include your recipe or money values.

Google Analytics for Firebase may process app-instance or installation identifiers, masked IP-derived approximate location, app lifecycle and interaction events, and device and installation metadata such as the operating-system version, model, language, app version, and installer. BakeGauge disables advertising-ID collection, does not set a Firebase user ID, does not link Google Ads, and does not use personalized ads.

You can turn it off at any time in Money & language settings. Turning it off stops future Analytics collection from BakeGauge, but it cannot erase data that Firebase has already aggregated.

Sharing, advertising, and sale

VoltyApps does not sell your personal data. BakeGauge has no advertising SDK, does not show ads, and does not share data for advertising or cross-company marketing. When optional Analytics is enabled, Google and its service providers process the disclosed Analytics data to provide the service to VoltyApps.

Security, retention, and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them, clear BakeGauge storage, or uninstall the app. You can delete local recipes and ingredient records through the app where those controls are available, and delete all local app data through Android system settings. Analytics transmissions use encryption in transit. Firebase controls the retention and deletion of previously collected Analytics data under Google's service settings and policies; BakeGauge cannot identify an Analytics record as belonging to an account because the app has no account or user ID.

Children

BakeGauge is a business utility for adults and is not designed for children. VoltyApps does not knowingly use BakeGauge to collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through the optional Analytics service.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when BakeGauge's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and a material change will be reflected in the app or its Google Play listing when appropriate.
